A symbol used as the name of an optional argument.

Functions with optional argument named Algorithm :

• discriminant(...,Algorithm=>...)
• gb(...,Algorithm=>...) -- see gb -- compute a Gröbner basis
• resultant(...,Algorithm=>...)
• syz(...,Algorithm=>...) -- see syz(Matrix) -- compute the syzygy matrix
