This function is a method function, defined in the core so multiple packages can add methods to it.

normalCone(Ideal) -- see associatedGradedRing -- The normal cone of a subscheme
normalCone(Ideal,RingElement) -- see associatedGradedRing -- The normal cone of a subscheme
normalCone(Polyhedron,Polyhedron) -- computes the normal cone of a face of a polyhedron
