• Usage:

  select(n,f)

• Inputs:
  • n, an integer
  • f, a function, returning either true or false
• Outputs:
  • a list, a list of those natural numbers i less than n that yield true when the function f is applied

Description

i1 : select(20, odd)

o1 = {1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19}

o1 : List

i2 : select(20, even)

o2 = {0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18}
