Synopsis

  M2CODE x

• Inputs:
  • x, a thing
• Outputs:
  • an instance of the type CODE

Description

Returns a CODE object with its "class" attribute set to "language-macaulay2" so that it will appear with syntax highlighting in the html documentation. For example,

M2CODE "ideal(x*z - y^2, y*w - z^2, x*w - y*z)"

will appear as

ideal(x*z - y^2, y*w - z^2, x*w - y*z)
